Contacts Section

You can use the following contact features to define flow and thermal interaction between fluid and fluid, and between fluid and solid. Make contact either by selecting a pair of surfaces, where each surface is from one region, or by selecting two regions directly. Whether the two selected surfaces or regions are able to make contact depends on the contact control parameter, the geometry, and the mesh resolution.

Solid Interface
Creates an interface between fluid and solid.
See Defining a Solid Interface.
Periodic Interface
Apply translational or rotational periodic interface.
See Defining a Periodic Interface.
Fluid Interface
Couples two fluids that have same material and physics.
See Defining a Fluid Interface.
Porous Baffle
Defines a porous baffle.
See Defining a Porous Baffle.
Conducting Baffle
Specifies heat flow across a thin wall between two fluid regions.
