Setup Section

The Setup section allows you to manage finite element meshes and amplitudes.

Amplitudes define a time versus magnitude curve that can be applied to certain loads to effect variations in the load magnitude over the course of a step. Amplitudes are created as stand-alone simulation features. A load feature definition includes a reference to a preexisting amplitude; the same amplitude can, therefore, be reused for multiple loads.

A Default amplitude in which the amplitude curve varies linearly from zero to one throughout the step time is available for all loads.
