3DEXPERIENCE Menu

Most of the commands on the 3DEXPERIENCE menu in the SOLIDWORKS menu bar operate on the currently active model in the graphics area.

The Options command lets you modify the settings that control how information about models in the ENOVIA database appears in the task pane.

Get Latest Iteration
Copies the latest iteration of the file from the database to your local database area. See Getting Latest Iteration
Get
Displays a numbered list of previous versions of the file for you to select from. See Getting Latest Iteration
Get Latest Released
Copies the latest released iteration of the file from the database to your local directory.
Check Out
Lets you check out the active file. Other users can view the files but they are prevented from editing them. See Checking Out Files
Check In
Lets you check files into the database so that they are available to other users for editing. See Checking in Files
Check In All
Lets you check in all files and their references that SOLIDWORKS has opened. This option is only active if you have at least one other referenced file checked out.
Undo Check Out
Cancels a checkout without saving changes. See Undoing a Check-Out
Undo Check Out All
Cancels a checkout of the active file and the reference file without saving changes.
Baseline
Creates a baseline for the active document. See Baselining Designs
Promote
Promotes a file from one lifecycle state to the next. See Promoting Objects.
Synchronize
Updates the files in your cache with the latest data in the 3DEXPERIENCEserver.
Show Card
Displays the data card for the file.
Options
Displays the Options dialog box, from which you can modify server settings and settings that specify how database information is displayed in the task pane. See Setting Task Pane Options
Customize Menu
Allows you to choose what is displayed on the menu.
