Context Menus

The context menus provide convenient access to drive, folder, and file commands.

Drive Commands

To access the commands, click .

Storage

Displays the available storage capacity, and the space already used in your drive. Only the content of My Files and the Trash are taken into account.

Note: The Shared with me node is not computed.

Disconnect

Disconnects the drive.

Note: This command is available for Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive.

Folder Commands

To access the commands, click .

View Information

Lets you access the information pane.

See the Information section of App Toolbar.

Share

Shares a folder.

See Share a Folder.

Move to...

Moves a folder.

See Move Folders.

Edit Properties

Edits the folder title.

If the folder is in a 3DEXPERIENCE drive, you can edit its description.

Delete

Deletes the folder.

Note: This command is also available in the Trash.
Important: Deleting content stored in the trash removes it permanently. This action cannot be undone.

New Folder

Creates a new folder.

Note: This command is also available by right-clicking anywhere in the right pane.

Upload Folder

Uploads a folder from your device.

Upload File

Uploads one or more files to the selected folder.

Note: This command is also available by right-clicking anywhere in the right pane.

Note: If the My Files or any child folder node is selected in the left pane, and no folder is selected in the right pane, you can also add content by clicking on the app toolbar.

Download

Download files and folder content.

Note: This command is also available by right-clicking anywhere in the right pane.

Revoke Access

Removes access to a folder that has been shared with you

Note: This command is also available by right-clicking a folder in the right pane.

Add to My Files

Adds the selected folder from Shared with me to My Files.

SeeAdd to My Files.

Remove

Removes the selected content from My Files.

Note: This command is only available on folders added under this node using the Add to My Files command.

Restore

Restores content from the trash to the place from which it was deleted. See Delete a Folder and Delete a File.

File Commands

To access the commands, click .

View Information

Lets you access the information pane.

Preview

If the file extension is supported, opens a file's preview.

Note: 3DPlay Web App-compatible content is automatically opened in full-screen mode.

Shares a file.

Publish to 3DSwym

Publishes a file to 3DSwym.

Move to...

Moves a file.

Copy To...

Copies a file.

Edit Properties

Edits the file title.

If the edited content is in a 3DEXPERIENCE drive, you can edit its description.

Delete

Deletes the file.

Download

Downloads the file to your device.

Note: This command is also available by right-clicking anywhere in the right pane.

Revokes Access

Revokes access to a file that has been shared with you

Add to My Files

Adds the selected file from Shared with me to My Files.

Remove

Removes the selected file from My Files.

Note: This command is only available on files added under this node using the Add to My Files command.

Open With

Depending on the MIME type associated with the file format, this submenu lets you select a compatible app to open the selected file.

Restore

Restores content from the trash to the place from which it was deleted. See Delete a Folder and Delete a File.

Open file location

Under the Recent Files node in the tree, opens the location where the selected file is stored.
