Viewing and Editing Constituent Properties

When a composite ingredient is expanded to show its constituent substances, you can view properties for each constituent substance.

There are two types of constituent property:

  • Profile properties define general characteristics of the constituent, including its name, its ID, and its function in the formula.
  • Weight properties define constituent quantities and activities.

Most constituent properties are not editable in Formulation Design, because the constituents are substances that are managed in Materials Registration.
