Configuration Section

The Configuration section provides commands for managing configuration contexts and variants.

Edit Configuration Context
Adds or removes a configuration context to be used with an object.

Edit Variant
Adds or removes a configuration variant from an object.

Edit Evolution
Lets you edit the evolution effectivity on a configured variant.
See Editing Evolution Effectivity.
Copy Variant/Option Effectivity
Copies the variant/option effectivity of an object to paste it to another object in the structure.
Note: This action is only available if your Business Administrator has decoupled effectivity so that variant and evolution effectivity can be defined separately.

Paste Variant/Option Effectivity
Pastes the copied variant/option effectivity of one object on another object in the structure.

Add Configuration Filter
Filters the content in your system based on configuration contexts or variants
In the Configuration Filters dialog box, select an option to define elements to be filtered, and then select the configuration filter.

Remove All Configuration Filter
Removes the configuration filter.
