Design Section

This section provides commands for managing the simulation of Modelica models.

Documentation Viewer
Display the documentation of a Modelica class.
See Displaying Documentation.
Reframe
Centers the diagram view.
Create Assessment
Creates an assessment template in the current study.
See Managing Assessment Templates.
Model Specifications
Displays the modifications made to the parameters.
The dialog box provides easy access to the parameters and variables of interest in the current assessment template and all its components, which are activated and modified.
See Managing Model Specifications.
Create Cockpit
Creates a cockpit view for analysis.
The cockpit view is a single graphical view of the model that summarizes the main assets of the model.
See Creating a Cockpit.
Plot Window
Creates an empty plot window.
You can create continuous or discrete 2D plots for post-processing of the simulation results.
See Plotting Simulation Results.
Experiment Setup
Configures the simulation settings.
You can configure the simulation start time or end time, the algorithm used for computation, and the required accuracy of the simulation.
See Setting up a Simulation.
Simulate
Simulates the current assessment template.
The simulation translates and compiles the Modelica model, runs the computation, and collects the simulation data.
See Simulating a Model.
Parametric Simulation Task
Creates a parametric simulation task.
You can run multiple simulation tasks by performing parametric analysis over a group of parameters.
See Simulating a Parametric Task.
Composition Mode
Lets you compose the Modelica model.
You can create instances of Modelica classes in the model, connect these instances, and adjust the layout of the diagram.
See Composing Models.
