Workflow

This topic describes a suggested workflow when working in 3D Markup.

In general, 3D Markup is used to:

  • Approve or reject the modifications made in a part or an assembly.
  • Highlight the issues in a part or an assembly that need to be modified by the designer.
For more information, see Change Management User's Guide: Change Action Management for 3DDashboard.

  1. Start 3D Markup in the dashboard. See Getting Started.

For more information on the welcome panel, see About the Home Page.

  2. Specify the preferences as required. See Editing Preferences and Editing App Specific Preferences.
  3. Change the viewpoint of the object using different commands available in the View section of the action bar. See View Section.
  4. Create slides to review the part or the assembly from different view points. See Working with Slides.
