Bookmark Root

The Bookmark root lets you create a bookmark hierarchy for your projects or objects.

To access this page:

  1. Click the Compass and select X-CAD Design > My View. The PowerView page appears.
  2. Click the Bookmark Root tab.

This page discusses:

Columns

Column Description
Name The design name using the file name excluding the file's extension.
Title Title of the object.
Filename File name and type of file
Alerts If any Alerts apply to the design, an alert is displayed in the Alerts column.
Rev The revision of the design.
Note: Versions of an object in X-CAD Design Management workspaces are not displayed. Only the Revision objects are displayed.
Description A brief description of the design.
State The object's current lifecycle state.
Owner The person who currently owns the design.
Actions The actions you can perform on the object.
Type The object type.

Open the Properties page for the object in a new window.

Action Description

Promote

Promote the selected object to the next state in the object's lifecycle. See Promoting Objects.
Demote Demote the selected object to the previous state in the object's lifecycle. See Demoting an object.
EBOM Sync Create an Engineering BOM (EBOM) based on the selected CAD object. See Creating an EBOM from CAD Objects.
Rename Rename the CAD model. See Renaming CAD Objects.
SaveAs Save a CAD object with a different name. See Save As.
Purge Permanently delete the CAD objects from the ENOVIA Live Collaboration database. See Purging.

Change Owner

To change the owenrship of the object. You can change the ownership of designs only in pre-released state. Also, you must be the design's current owner or an Integration Administrator to change the ownership.
Delete Selected Delete the selected objects, if you have delete permission. See Deleting CAD Objects. Only Integration documents can be deleted using the Delete Selected option from Bookmark root.
Lock Lock an unlocked object. See Locking and Unlocking CAD Objects.
UnLock Unlock an object that you locked. See Locking and Unlocking CAD Objects.
