Change Requests Page

The Change Requests tab shows all CRs that you own. You can expand the CR to see related change orders and change actions.

To view your CRs, do one of:

  • From the My Changes page, click the Change Request tab.
  • From the Properties page of an object that has related change requests, click the Change Management category, then click the Change Request tab.
  • Search for the CR and select it from the search results.

Table Contents

You may see fewer columns, depending on from where you accessed the page.
Column Description
Name Name of the CR. This column contains highlighted links. Click a name to go to the Properties page.
Type The CR type or subtype
Status CR status:
  • In Work (not late)
  • In Work (late)
  • Completed (on time)
  • Completed (late)
Owner Person responsible for the CR
Originator Person who created the CR
Coordinator Person responsible for change assessment and completion
State Current state of the CR in its lifecycle
Approval Status Shows which CRs require approval. Click the link to view tasks.
Description Details about the requested change
Organization Company or business unit that is responsible for the CR
Reported Against Item about which the change was reported
Start Date Date from which changes will be in effect
End Date Actual completion date of change actions at respective levels
Due Date When the change should be completed
Severity Low, Medium, or High
Summary Report Displays the properties, approvals status, and other information about the CR.

Create New

Create a CR Creating a Change Request
Approve/Reject

Select and approve or reject active tasks that you own -
Hold

Place the selected CRs on hold. This is not available after the CR reaches the Approved state. Holding/Resuming a Change Order
Cancel

Cancel selected CRs. This is not available for CRs that have reached the In Process CO state. -
Subscriptions

Receive notification on status changes for the CR. -
Copy Selected

Create a CR and include attributes from the selected CR Creating a Change Request
Transfer Ownership

Transfer ownership of the CR to either the initiator or a change coordinator. This command is available only for owners and change coordinators.

Initiator: The user who created the CR and may also be the owner.

Owner: The user who owns the CR.

Change Coordinator: A user who can be assigned as the CR change coordinator and may also be the owner.

  • To Change Initiator - The transfer occurs when you select this option. No other information about the Initiator is required. This option is active even if the current owner and the Initiator are the same user.
  • To Change Coordinator - Complete the slide-in to transfer the CR.

Delete

Delete the selected CRs from the database. This is not available for CRs that have reached the Evaluate state. -
