Manufacturing Plans Page

Columns

For a model, this page shows the Derivations tab that lists the derivation history for all manufacturing plans for all model versions managed by the model. For a model version, this page shows the Composition tab that lists all manufacturing plan revisions and derivations for that specific model version revision.

Column Name	Description
Rev	The manufacturing plan revision number or code.
Derivation Cue	If shows in this column, the manufacturing plan on that row is derived (not revised) from its parent.
Name	Name of the manufacturing plan. The root node shows the first manufacturing plan created for the model or model version. Click to view the Manufacturing Plan Breakdown page for the manufacturing plan.
Derivation Type	How this plan was created relative to its parent. The root plan does not have a derivation type. Possible Value Description Derivation A derivation of its parent. A plan can has as many derivations (usually associated with the model version derivations) as needed. Revision A revision of its parent. A manufacturing plan can only have a single revision (which can be subsequently revised).
Derived From	The manufacturing plan from which the plan was derived or revised. Click to view the Manufacturing Plan Breakdown page for that object.
Derivation Level	The root manufacturing plan in an evolution tree is always for the Main Release. Revisions and derivations can have either of these values: Main Release Fix Release
Planned For	Shows the marketing name and revision of the model version associated with the plan.
Manufacturing Intent	How the manufacturing plan will be produced: Possible Values Description Regular The manufacturing plan breakdown should comply with its related engineering definition. Retrofit The manufacturing plan breakdown does not need to comply with its related engineering definition.
Check	Only shows for a model version (not for a model). Indicates the completeness of the manufacturing plan definition. Icon Description Compliant with the design information. Non-compliant with the design information. Unresolved.
Display Name	The display name defined for the manufacturing plan. Click to view the Manufacturing Plan Breakdown page for the plan.
Type	The type is either manufacturing plan or a sub-type your company has configured.
State	The current lifecycle state. State Description Preliminary The manufacturing plan is created. The manufacturing plan breakdown must be completed prior to promoting. Release The manufacturing plan is in use. Archived The manufacturing plan is obsolete.
Owner	Person responsible for the plan.

Actions/Toolbar Commands

Action	Description	For More Information
Create Derivation	Creates a derivation of the selected manufacturing plan. As many derivations of a plan can exist as needed.	Creating, Revising, and Deriving a Manufacturing Plan
Create Revision	Creates the first manufacturing plan, or creates a revision of the selected manufacturing plan. Only one revision of a plan can exist.	Creating, Revising, and Deriving a Manufacturing Plan
Insert Before	Inserts a derived manufacturing plan between the selected plan and its parent. You cannot select a released or archived plan for this action.	Inserting a Derived Manufacturing Plan
Edit Manufacturing Plan Breakdown	Only shows in the list of manufacturing plans for a model version. Edits the breakdown of the selected manufacturing plan for the model version. You cannot select a released or archived plan for this action.	Editing the Manufacturing Plan Breakdown
Delete	Deletes the selected manufacturing plan. Click OK to confirm. You can only delete manufacturing plans in the Preliminary state, and you cannot delete a plan if it has any revisions or derivations.	-
