Part Library Properties

The Properties page shows details about the part library and provides access to edit the part library details and subscribe to the part library.

To access this page:

  1. View the list of part libraries (see Libraries List) or search for a specific library.
  2. Click the Name of a part library or a class. The part library page appears.
  3. From the categories tab, select the name of the part library or the class.

Fields

The left side of the page shows the structure of the part library. You can expand/collapse branches in the tree to move through the structure, and click any item in the tree to view the default page for that object.

Field Name Description
Name The name assigned to the part library.
Type The type of the library
Primary Image Displays the primary image linked to the part library.
Title A brief title used to identify the part library.
Description A brief description about the part library.
Policy Policy that governs the lifecycle states of the part library.
State Current lifecycle state of the part library.
Owner Owner of the part library.
Originator Creator of the part library.
Originated Date of creation of the part library.

Push Subscription Selects other people to receive notifications of events. Pushing Subscriptions in the Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide
Export For libraries only. Exports the taxonomy to an XML file, which can be imported into another ENOVIA system. Exporting and Importing a Library Taxonomy

Sharing

Lists the people with whom the object is shared, and the privileges they have.

Note: The user who is assigned the access rights can view a part library of any state.

History

Lifecycle

 Shows the lifecycle of the object and its current state. Lifecycle Page in the 3DEXPERIENCE Basics

Routes

 Shows all routes associated with the part library. Routes Page and Routes Summary Page in the Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide

Referenced By

 Shows where the part library is used. Viewing Where an Object is Used (Referenced By)

Issues

 Shows issues for the items in the part library. Issues Summary/Issues Category in the Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide

Reference Documents

 Lists the documents that provide reference information for the part library. Documents and Content in theCollaboration and Approvals User's Guide

Background Jobs

 Lists any taxonomy export executed as a background job. Background Jobs List

Images

 Displays images associated with the part library. Images Page in the Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide
