  • Add a part as a child part even if that part is created in a private/protected collaborative space as long as they do not modify the part.
Owner The person who created the part.
Options
Design Collaboration

Shows whether the part is collaborated with ENOVIA Product Finder.

Note: If the part was created in an earlier release, is in In Work, and Design collaboration is set to True, you may need to set the Design collaboration to False before applying set to production or promoting the part.
Design Controlled

There are two possible values:

True. The design control of the part is with ENOVIA Product Finder.

False. The design control of the part is with Engineering BOM Management.

Note: When a part has no related physical reference, the field is empty.
Change Required Indicates "Enabled; Any Change" or a change action group name if the part is under change management, otherwise, "Disabled". Under strict change-required, the CA is shown. To enable/disable change management, click Set Change Required or Unset Change Required in the toolbar. Also see Work Under.
Configured Indicates "True" if the part is configured, otherwise, "False".
Work Under Change Indicates the work under CA or group associated with the part. If the part is under Strict change-required, the Change Required and Work Under Change fields both show the name of the CA or CA group. These fields will be displayed if the part is created under Change. See About Work Under Changes.
Design Information
Note: The Design Information section and its fields appear in part properties when a product is connected to a part with design collaboration, (A user selected 'Design Collaboration' when creating the part).
Name The name of the collaborated product associated with the part. The corresponding icon indicates whether the part is collaborated with a product structure. Click the link to view the product. If this field is blank, there is no collaboration with any product structure.
