Generating Drawings from Manufacturing BOM

You can now generate drawings for the DELMIA products from the manufacturing BOM.

The Piping Batch Generated Drawings command lets you retrieve the generated drawings that are attached in the resulting product.

Benefits:

Using the isometric batches, you can now generate drawings by selecting the DELMIA manufacturing BOM nodes.
Using the Piping Batch Generated Drawings command, you can quickly retrieve the generated drawings attached to the spools or assemblies.

Attaching Drawing with Revision

While running a batch, if the spool revision is in work, the latest drawing is now attached to the parent product node.

Benefits: Using the batch, the latest revision of the drawing is replaced with the existing drawing to prevent duplication of drawings.

View Plane Selection from Axis System

While creating a view, you can now select a plane within the axis system as a view plane.

Benefits: You can now generate a pillar drawing by selecting the plane on the axis system. This saves time from manually creating the planes from the axis system.

Support of View-Dress up Parameters to 3D Clipping Filter

The 3D clipping spatial filter now supports the view-dress up values from the GVS (Generative View Styles).

Benefits: You can now create a view filter of 3D clipping type that follows the standardized values specified in the GVS.

PLM Filter Selection

The user interface of the Select 3D Objects for View dialog box is improved to accommodate the product selection and the retrieve PLM filters.

While creating views, you can now select the PLM filter from the top bar search result.

Benefits: You can now choose the way of selecting the PLM filters for view creation.

Automation Process Batch

You can now create drawings, sheets, or views according to the logic defined in an automation process.

Benefits: Using the Automation Process Drawing command, you can now automate the specifications of the drawings, sheets, or views as per the customized rules.

User Interface Enhancements

The following capabilities are now enhanced:

Double-click a template to select it in the catalog browser.
User preference of the last used template chapter is saved.
Prevent modification in a locked view.
Added new buttons: OK and Cancel in the catalog browser.

Benefits:

You can now quickly access the last used template chapter.
You can also lock a view to prevent modifications such as copying or deleting the view, creating annotations, updating the view, synchronizing the template and so on.

The performance, while working on a 3D polyhedral data, is now improved.

Benefits: The Multi-Discipline Drafting app is more efficient and shows stable performance while working on a 3D polyhedral data.
