What's New

This page describes recent changes in Simulation Manager.

R2022x GA

XFlow Simulations Support

You can now use Simulation Manager to run XFlow simulations on the cloud.
XFlow enables you to address complex CFD workflows involving high-frequency transient simulations with real moving geometries, complex multiphase flows, and free surface flows.
Benefits: Simulation Manager allows you to leverage the virtual, secure, high-performance computing capacity of the 3DEXPERIENCE cloud to run XFlow simulations.
For more information, see XFlow Simulations

XFlow Processing in a Remote Session

You can now run a remote session on the 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud from your browser to postprocess your XFlow simulation results.
You can open a remote session from the context menu of an XFlow simulation in the simulations panel.
Benefits: Opening tools in a remote session allows you to process XFlow simulation results without downloading large results files locally.
For more information, see Viewing XFlow Results

PowerFLOW Simulations Support

You can now use Simulation Manager to runPowerFLOW simulations on the cloud.
PowerFLOW is a transient, Lattice Boltzmann based solution that allows you to efficiently perform aerodynamic simulations.
Benefits: Simulation Manager allows you to leverage the virtual, secure, high-performance computing capacity of the 3DEXPERIENCE cloud to run PowerFLOW simulations.
For more information, see PowerFLOW Simulations

PowerFLOW Processing in a Remote Session

You can now run the PowerVIZ and PowerINSIGHT remote sessions on the 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud from your browser to postprocess your PowerFLOW simulation results.
You can open a remote session from the context menu of a PowerFLOW simulation in the simulations panel.
Benefits: Opening tools in a remote session allows you to process PowerFLOW simulations without downloading large results files locally.
