Structural Load Analysis During Assembly of a Clip and Buckle
This example guides you through creating and performing structural simulations on the
3DEXPERIENCE platform.
You will learn how to:
Create a structural simulation that predicts the force required to insert a clip
into a buckle.
Select appropriate physical interaction models, create simulation steps, and
choose appropriate loading and boundary conditions.
Use common simulation features, such as restraints, loads, general contact, and
kinematic couplings.
Create and run a simulation.
View the results of a simulation.
This example introduces only one simulation analysis procedure: static analysis. It does not
include techniques for managing multiple CAD geometries, applying advanced meshing
techniques, using multiple steps in a simulation, or managing multiple simulations and
results.
