Creating Traceability Objects in Folders

Create a Folder

From Systems Traceability Dashboarding, you can create a folder in an existing bookmark workspace or a project.

Before you begin: Create a bookmark workspace or a project in their dedicated apps.

Select a bookmark workspace or a project in one of the following tree categories:
- Bookmark
- Project
From the properties area, click Create Folder .

In Systems Traceability Dashboarding, you can use folders to add traceability objects.

Select a folder.
From the properties area, click one of these commands to create traceability objects:
- Create Review : See Managing Reviews.
- Create Diff : See Comparing Elements in a Diff.
- Create Semantic Browser : See Customizing Navigation with a Semantic Browser.
- Create Link Set : See Creating Links From a Link Set.
If the folder is created in a bookmark workspace, you can add a pattern or a scope. Use one of the following methods:
- From the properties area, select one of these commands:
  - Create Scope: See Creating and Editing a Scope.
  - Create Pattern: See Creating a Pattern Schema.
- Drag a pattern from the Pattern category of the tree, and drop it to the bookmark folder.
- Drag a scope from the Scope category of the tree, and drop it to the bookmark folder.
Tip: When a folder is created in a bookmark, you can use Bookmark Editor to reorder the added objects.
