1. Create Your Experience
You can create an Experience by inserting a product and ambience.

On the welcome page, click New
to create a new Experience. For more information, see Creating an Experience.

Select the product you want to use and click
OK.
The New Experience dialog box opens.

Specify the name of the Experience and the collaborative space where you
want to save the Experienc.
The new Experience with the selected product opens in xStudio. The loaded product appears in the viewport. On the lower-left side, in
the content panel, the product structure appears in the
Models
 tab.

From the action bar, click the fly out of the insert
function and select
to insert an ambience.
The search result only displays the supported type
Ambience Environment.

From the results, select the ambience and click
OK.
The loaded ambience appears in the viewport. On the lower-left side, in the
Ambience

tab of the content panel, the name of the ambience is listed under
Current Ambience.

Alternatively you can create your own ambience. For more information, see
Create a New Ambience from Within the App.
An xStudio Experience with a default Scene is created.
2. Stage Your Product
You can stage your product by editing properties in the Experience.
Context: You can do the following:
- Adjust the camera view,
- Create and edit scenes,
- Modify the product and material properties,
- Modify the ambience properties.
Note:
The original content in the database of the 3DEXPERIENCE
Platform is not modified when applying changes to a scene in xStudio.

Adjust the camera view of the current scene.

Specify the camera properties by navigating in the viewport.
- Optional:
Open the camera properties
from the action bar to adjust further settings, for
example the Aspect ratio or
Focus. For more information, see Camera Properties.

Click Apply camera view to Scene
on the upper right to apply the camera properties of the viewport
to your active Scene. For more information, see Editing Cameras.

In the Scenes
panel on the left, click Create new
Scene
.
All properties from the viewport are adopted into a newly created Scene that
appears below the already existing one.

Change the position, scale, or material properties of the product or its
parts for the newly created Scene.

In the viewport, either select the entire product (single left
click) or one of its parts (double left click).
The Physical Product Properties panel
 on the right side displays the available properties.

In the Properties panel, do one of the
following:
- Optional:
Duplicate an existing scene.

In the Scenes panel, hover over the scene
you want to duplicate.
A check box appears in the upper right corner of the scene
thumbnail.

Select the check box.

Click Duplicate Scenes
.
The duplicated scene appears at the end of the list.

Adjust the ambience of a scene.

Open the Ambience
tab in the content panel.

Select the ambience listed under Current
Ambience that belongs to the active (blue framed)
Scene.
The Ambience Properties panel appears
on the right side.

In the Properties panel, adjust the ambience
properties. For more information about ambience properties, see
Ambience Properties.
Your Experience contains several different scenes that you can render.
3. Render Your Scene
You can adjust the render settings of a scene before triggering the creation of your
render output.

From the action bar, click Render
Export
.
The Render Export dialog box appears.

Specify the Render Job Name and basic settings like
the Format and Resolution for
the output media. For more information about the render settings, see Render Export.

In the Quality section, use the existing predefined
presets to specify the quality of your rendered output media.

To start the render process, click
Render.
Note:
You can click
Render as soon as the calculation of
estimated credits has been finished.

From the action bar, click Render Job Monitor
.

Wait until the render job is finished, then click the arrow
on the lower right of the thumbnail to either publish or download the
media of the render job.
