Authoring Section - Primary Area

The primary area of the Authoring section provides commands for using basic actions, such as generating an MBOM, managing capable resources and auxiliary parts, and extracting production drawings.

	Plug In Design Features In Manufacturing Parts Enables modifying Manufacturing Parts for manufacturing purposes. See Modifying Design Features.


	Manage Capable Resources Manages capable resources related to the selected manufactured item. Select a manufactured item. The Manage Capable Resources panel lets you visualize, add, and remove resources related to the manufactured item. You can also visualize, add, and remove documents associated with resources. 	Manage Auxiliary Parts Add or Remove Auxiliary Parts under selected manufacturing assembly See Managing Auxiliary Parts.


	Synchronization Manager Synchronizes the status between the EBOM and the MBOM after changes have been made to the EBOM along with using synchronizing to Revise a Resulting Product. See Using Synchronization Manager.

	Continuous Manufactured Material Length See Flyout for Creating Continuous Manufactured Items.


	Extract Production Drawing Creates a production drawing for each manufacturing assembly with its own viewpoint. See Generating a Production Drawing.


	Open Workshop Document Opens workshop documents of a selected item. See Opening Workshop Documents.


	Apply Naming Rule Applies a naming rule on an item. See Applying a Naming Rule.


	PPR Spreadsheet Editor Starts the PPR Spreadsheet Editor. Lets you browse and edit the planning and simulation data in a spreadsheet view. See Using the Spreadsheet.
