General Commands of Context Menus

Context menus provide convenient access to commands. To see the menus, right-click an object or item. Commands only available from the tree are listed below.

Common Commands

This section lists the commands, which are common to one or more objects.

Search
Lets you search for existing elements and add them to the corresponding tab.

Important: On the cloud, the search must not only contain '*'.
Lock
Locks the selected object.

Unlock
Unlocks the selected object.

Lock Hierarchy
Locks the selected object with its hierarchy.

Unlocks the selected object with its hierarchy.

Insert Variant Models
Associates variant models with the selected object.
Select a variant model. The variant model appears in the Variant Models area of the Configuration tab in the Properties area.
Important: On the cloud, the search must not only contain '*'.
Remove Variant Models
Removes the variant models associated with the selected object.
Important: On the cloud, the search must not only contain '*'.
Enter Effectivity
Applies an effectivity to filter configured architectures.

Replace by
Replaces a version or an object by another version or compatible object.

Remove Selected Elements
Removes a multiselection of homogeneous elements, which have the same parent.
Remove Selected Elements and Connections
Removes a multiselection of homogeneous elements, which have the same parent. This command also removes the connections of the elements.

View

Create View
Creates a view from the selected element in the tree.

Remove View
Remove the selected view.
