Left Pane Context Menus

Context menus provide convenient access to commands. To see the menus, right-click an object or item.

Notes:
  • While using Bookmark Editor on a smaller device, you can scroll the context menu up or down with the help of provided arrows.
  • These commands are context sensitive, which means that commands are grayed out or are unavailable if the actions are not available for your current task.
  • You can reorder the favorite bookmarks by dragging.

Action Description For More Information
Expand All Lets you expand Favorites completely. Expand All on a bookmark that contains more than 5000 bookmarks or sub bookmarks, displays an error. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Rename Renames the bookmark. -
Remove Lets you remove the bookmark from Favorites. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
New Bookmark Lets you create a bookmark inside the bookmark that is open. Bookmarks
Delete Deletes the bookmark from 3DEXPERIENCE. Deleting Objects
Copy Lets you create a copy of the bookmark in another bookmark.

You can also press Ctrl + C.

Duplicating Objects
Cut Lets you move the bookmark to another bookmark.

You can also press Ctrl + X. To cancel this command, press Esc.

Moving Objects to Another Collaborative Space or Organization
Paste Pastes bookmarks or content in the current bookmark.

This command is available in the context menu only if you have previously cut or copied objects.

You can also preview the CAD content.

You can also press Ctrl + V.

Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Properties Lets you view and edit the properties of the bookmark, view the log of actions performed on the bookmark, and drag recent content to any bookmark.

You can also press Alt + Enter

Information and Properties
Access Right Lets you grant and revoke access privileges for the bookmark to a user, or to a collaborative space.
Note: Columns such as Persons/Collaborative spaces and Permission are hidden if there is no data to display.
Bookmark Root and Bookmark Lifecycle
