Authoring Section

The Authoring section of the action bar provides commands for instantiating hangers, defining hanger ports, standard placement, contextual placement, and multi-instantiation of hangers.

Hanger Instantiation
Instantiates the hanger in an assembly.

Hanger Port Definition
Adds, modifies, and deletes ports on the instantiated hangers.

Standard Instantiation
Lets you select components and place them at the required locations, using the Robot.

Contextual Instantiation
Lets you select a template of a component and place it at the required location on an assembly.

Define Multi-Instantiation

Multi-Instantiation Definition
Duplicates the components as many times as you want in the desired direction.

Fast Multi-Instantiation
Duplicates the components using the parameters previously set with the Multi-Instantiation Definition command.
