Document Library Properties

The properties for a document library lists details about that object.

To access this page:

  1. Locate the required document library. See Libraries List.
  2. Click Name of the document library.
  3. From the Categories tab, click the name of the library.

Fields

Field Name Description
Name Name of the document library or the document family.
Type Type of object: document library or document family.
Primary Image Displays the primary image linked to the document library or the document family.
Title A short title.
Description A brief description.
Policy Policy that controls lifecycle states of the document library or the document family.
State Current lifecycle state of the document library or the document family.
Owner Owner of the document library or the document family.
Originator Creator of the document library or the document family.
Originated Actual date when the document library or the document family was created.
Created On Date of creation of the document library or the document family.
Approver User who approved the document library or the document family for use.
Locked If the document library or the document family is locked, icon is displayed.

Lock Locks the object so documents cannot be checked in or out. --
Unlock Unlocks a locked object. --
