General Class Properties

The Properties page shows details about the general class and provides access to edit the class details and subscribe to the class.

To access this page:

View the list of libraries (see Libraries List) or classes (see Library Classes and Subclasses Lists) or search for a specific general class.
Click the Name of a class.
From the Categories tab, click the name of the class.

Fields

The left side of the page shows the structure of the library. You can expand/collapse branches in the tree to move through the structure, and click any item in the tree to view the default page for that object.


Field Name	Description
Name	Name of the class.
Type	Type of the class.
Primary Image	Displays the primary image linked to the class.
Title	A brief title used to identify the class.
Description	Details about the class.
Policy	Policy that governs the lifecycle states of the class.
State	Current lifecycle state of the class.
Owner	Owner of the class.
Originator	Creator of the class.
Originated	Date of creation of the class.
Classification Path	The complete taxonomy path, starting from the library, of the classified item. Click a highlighted name to view the default page for that object.

Sharing	Lists who the object is shared with, and what privileges they have. Note: The user who is assigned the access rights can view a library or a class of any state.	Sharing Page

Referenced By	Shows where the class is used.	Viewing Where an Object is Used (Referenced By)
Issues	Shows issues for the items in the class.	Issues Summary/Issues Category in the Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide
Reference Documents	Lists the documents that provide reference information for the class.	Documents and Content in the Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide
Background Jobs	Lists any taxonomy export executed as a background job.	Background Jobs List
