Study

The header of the Study page provides options for working with the study.

Home returns to the Study Design and Tracking home page.

Reports the name of the study and its identifier.

•  Opens the Edit Study page for the current study. This is inactive if:
  • Another user is editing the study.
  • You only have the Reader access role for the study.
  • The study's lifecycle prevent edits.
•  Clones the current study and opens the Edit Study for the new study.
•  Displays the Share Study page.
•  Indicates that another user is editing the study. A tooltip reports more information.

The lifecycle management options available depend on the current state of the study. Clicking an option opens the Study Signature Form. For more information, see Phases of a Study and About the Lifecycle of a Study.

The Summary tab provides an overview of the details of the study.

There are several sections in the Summary tab. For more information, see Reviewing a Study.

General Information displays the basic study information. If a study has a corresponding Foundation Hub Task Plan, this includes its identifier as a link to the Task Plan.

•  indicates missing or invalid information.

People & Organization lists the study members and their access roles and rights.

Materials lists the lots and amounts used in the study. For more information, see Specifying Materials and Lots.

Test Design reports the configuration of the study's tests. Select a storage condition to use to filter the tables. For more information, see Designing Tests and Defining Storage Conditions.

Summary Amount reports the required amount of each material in the Study. For more information, see Summary Amount and Amounts.

The Lifecycle and Status tab reports the current state of the study and the transitions available.

 Controls the display of the legend explaining the states.

The Monitoring tab provides access to the progress of the tasks created for the study.

A heat map provides a review of the overall status of the tasks for all combinations of time points, conditions, and activities. For more information, see Monitoring a Study.

If the study has never been activated, the Monitoring tab reports that there are no tasks to display.

•  Allows editing of the map.
•  Pivots the orientation of the storage conditions and time points.
•  Displays a legend explaining the colors shown in the map.
•  Opens a detailed list of the tasks for the selected combination of time point and conditions, according to their current state. The tasks provide links to the corresponding BIOVIA Foundation Hub Task Plan with the Tasks tab open.

The colors in the map provide an indication of the status of the tasks for that combination of time point and conditions:

• No tasks for this combination of time point and conditions.
• All tasks are in the Abandoned state.
• The most mature (not in the Released or Abandoned state) is in the Created state.
• At least one task is in the Suspended state and none are In Progress.
• The most mature (not in the Released or Abandoned state) is in the In Progress state.
• The most mature (not in the Released or Abandoned state) is in the Completed state.
• All tasks are in either the Released or Abandoned state.

Refresh Updates the map and the Status Details panel.

Report Opens a dialog box to select and generate a report for the current study. For more information, see Generating Reports for a Study.
