The primary user interface for Experience Models Preparation app consists of an Experience Models Preparation wizard, common panels, and context toolbars. The majority of the functionality in Experience Models Preparation is accessed through the action bar and displayed in the work area.

Model
The work area displays 3D representations of the object you are working on—typically your product.
Experience Models Preparation wizard
The Experience Models Preparation wizard guides you through the process of configuring options and allows you to access the Experience Models Preparation app.
Information Report Panel
The Report Information panel displays the name of the product, the triangle density and the structure depth of the model, and tracks the current number of triangles information for the product or selection.
Contextual Information in Structure view
Contextual information labels displayed on selected products provide both the name of the product and the material if any, the diameter of the bounding sphere, the current number of triangles information, the visibility, the average density of triangles (concentration), and the area.
History Panel
After you run a preparation, a panel displays a history of all the actions that have been performed during the process. This panel is accessible from the action bar.
Removing Hidden Elements

Data Preparation Action Bar
The Data Preparation action bar provides commands for displaying prepared models information, a history of the operations, a mesh review rendering, simplifying prepared models using HSR and Decimation techniques, redefining the local axis system, etc.
Painter Palette and Color Picker
When you click Painter in the action bar, the Painter palette appears. It lets you select a color and change the look of your model.

Tips:
  • Panels can be docked, or snapped to other panels.
  • You can display Experience Models Preparation panels at any time by clicking the corresponding commands in the Data Preparation action bar.

The information in the panels described above reflects the most recent run of the preparation. The panels group data into expandable regions. Click to expand a region and display more information; click to collapse a region and remove it from the display. For certain type of information, symbol -coded icons (Decimation panel) and images (HSR panel) are displayed.
