Right Pane Context Menus

This topic shows actions that are available in the right pane context menu. Context menus provide convenient access to commands. To see the menus, right-click an object or item.

Notes:
  • While using Bookmark Editor on a smaller device, you can scroll the context menu up or down with the help of provided arrows.
  • These commands are context sensitive, which means that commands are grayed out or are unavailable if the actions are not available for your current task.

Rename Renames the bookmark. -
Delete Deletes the bookmark from 3DEXPERIENCE. Deleting Objects
Copy Lets you create a copy of the bookmark in another bookmark.

You can also press Ctrl + C.

Duplicating Objects
Cut Lets you move the bookmark to another bookmark.

You can also press Ctrl + X. To cancel this command, press Esc.

Moving Objects to Another Collaborative Space or Organization
Paste Pastes bookmarks or content in the current bookmark.

This command is available in the context menu only if you have previously cut or copied objects.

You can also preview the CAD content.

You can also press Ctrl + V.

Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Show in Parent Bookmark Opens the bookmark or the root bookmark.

This command is available in the context menu only if you have searched in a bookmark.

You can also click the path of the bookmark from the Parent Bookmark column for root bookmark.

Properties Lets you view and edit the properties of the bookmark, view the log of actions performed on the bookmark, and drag recent content to any bookmark.

You can also press Alt + Enter

 Information and Properties
Download File Downloads the file attached to the document on your device. Bookmark Objects
Access Right Lets you grant and revoke access privileges for the bookmark to a user, or to a collaborative space.
Note: Columns such as Persons/Collaborative spaces and Permission are hidden if there is no data to display.
 Bookmark Root and Bookmark Lifecycle
Remove Lets you remove the content from the bookmark without deleting it from 3DEXPERIENCE. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Expand All Lets you expand the structure of a CAD assembly completely excluding 3Dshape nodes.

This command is available in the context menu only for CAD content. However, 3DShape nodes are not displayed within the content view.

Edit or Update Lets you download the file attached to the selected document so that you can work on it, or lets you upload a file to a previously edited document.

This command is available in the context menu only for documents.

 Bookmark Objects
Undo Edit Discards all the edits done to a document and restores the original document in the bookmark. Bookmark Objects
Preview Lets you view a preview of the document. -
Find in Context Searches for elements in a product structure, and objects connected to a bookmark.

From the Tools section of the top bar, click Find in Context. To cancel the search, press Esc.

You can also right-click the physical products after selecting, and click Find in Context.

New Bookmark Lets you create a bookmark inside the bookmark that is open. Bookmarks
Add Existing Content Lets your search for existing content in 3DEXPERIENCE and add them to the current bookmark. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
