App Options Panel

The App Options panel provides options for tools dashboard, controls, geometry & display sets, and selection.

To access the App Options panel, from the Tools section of the action bar, select App Options .

Tools Dashboard


	Create Datum Creates geometry with the History mode deactivated. See Creating Datum Elements.
	Keep Original Creates a copy of the selected element before any action. See Keeping the Initial Element.
	Geometrical Set Inserts a geometrical set in the tree. See Managing Geometrical Sets
	Temporary Analysis Creates temporary analyses during the creation process of a feature. See Creating a Temporary Analysis.
	Parallel Command Session Enables to launch commands in parallel mode. See Using Parallel Command Sessions.
	Dress-Up Configures and displays the control points, segmentation curves, and iso-parametric curves on the currently selected elements.
	Geometric Information Displays geometric information on a selected element.
	Specialized Tesselation Lets you temporarily define an individual tesselation tolerance value. See Improving Shaded Display with Specialized Tesselation.
	Only Current Body See 3D Shape Infrastructure
	Show Historical Graph See Using the Historical Graph.
	Visual Symmetry Visualizes a 3D shape symmetrically in relation to a plane, in a product context. See Displaying a 3D Shape Symmetrically.

Controls


	No Attenuation Defines the ratio between the mouse displacement and the actual displacement of the handle in the geometry. See Setting the Handles Attenuation Factor.
	Low Attenuation Uses the power of 1 default attenuation value. See Setting the Handles Attenuation Factor.
	Medium Attenuation Uses the square default attenuation value. See Setting the Handles Attenuation Factor.
	High Attenuation Uses the cubic default attenuation value. See Setting the Handles Attenuation Factor.
	Handles Snap Snaps the control points to a precise position when manipulating control points. See Snap to a Position.
	Snap On Vertex Detects the closest corner of the selected element. See Snapping.
	Snap On Edge Detects the closest border (edge) of the selected element. See Snapping.
	Snap on control point Detects the closest control point on the selected element. See Snapping.
	Snap On Segment Detects the the closest segment of the selected element. See Snapping.
	Dynamic mode Moves a control point by the specified amount. See Moving Control Points.

Display Tools


	Orders Displays orders on elements and modifies their values. See Displaying U and V Orders on Elements.

	Contact Points Displays contact or coupling points on elements and modify their values. See Displaying Contact Points On Elements.

	Furtive Display See Displaying Furtive Elements Temporarily.

	3D Distance Displays the distance between the current and start position of the handle. See Positioning Control Points.
	Local Coordinates Displays the distance between the local coordinate system at the current handle position and model coordinate system. See Positioning Control Points.
	Absolute Coordinates Displays the absolute position of the local coordinates at the current handle in the model axis system. See Positioning Control Points.

Geometry & Display Lists


	WYSIWYG mode Enables the WYSIWYG visualization mode. Allows a better understanding of the geometrical model thanks to a visualization of the topological links between faces of a surface and edges of a wire. See Working with the WYSIWYG Mode.
	Display Lists Displays the dialog box Display Lists. See Working with Display Lists.
	Save active Display List Saves the current Hide/Show status of the elements in the active display list. See Working with Display Lists.
