App Options Panel

The App Options panel provides options for tools dashboard, controls, geometry & display sets, and selection.

To access the App Options panel, from the Tools section of the action bar, select App Options .

Tools Dashboard



Create Datum
Creates geometry with the History mode deactivated.

Controls



No Attenuation
Defines the ratio between the mouse displacement and the actual displacement of the handle in the geometry.

Low Attenuation
Uses the power of 1 default attenuation value.

Medium Attenuation
Uses the square default attenuation value.

High Attenuation
Uses the cubic default attenuation value.

Handles Snap
Snaps the control points to a precise position when manipulating control points.

Snap On Vertex
Detects the closest corner of the selected element.

Snap On Edge
Detects the closest border (edge) of the selected element.

Snap on control point
Detects the closest control point on the selected element.

Snap On Segment
Detects the the closest segment of the selected element.

Dynamic mode
Moves a control point by the specified amount.

Orders

3D Distance
Displays the distance between the current and start position of the handle.

Local Coordinates
Displays the distance between the local coordinate system at the current handle position and model coordinate system.

Absolute Coordinates
Displays the absolute position of the local coordinates at the current handle in the model axis system.

WYSIWYG mode
Enables the WYSIWYG visualization mode.
Allows a better understanding of the geometrical model thanks to a visualization of the topological links between faces of a surface and edges of a wire.

Save active Display List
Saves the current Hide/Show status of the elements in the active display list.
