Events

The Events page lists the details about events created for the context complaint and provide access to related options.

Required Access Roles:

  • Baseline: Author, Leader
  • App-Specific: Quality Manager Administrator

To access this page:

  • View the required complaint. For more information, see Complaint Power View.
  • Click the Events tab.

Columns

Column Name Description
Name Name of the complaint and the event. The name of the event is prefixed with CPTEVT. When you expand the event, the reported against items are listed, which are coneected to the context event.
Type Object type, complaint event
Experience Code Experience code, which is used to classify the problem
Issue Code Issue code, which is used to classify the issue
Date of Occurrence Date on which the problem occurred
Received Date Date on which the problem was reported
Primary : event is the primary event
Confirmed : event is confirmed
Timing Process during which the problem was identified. FDA codes for timing. Possible values are:
  • Kit Inspection
  • Other
  • Unknown
  • Upon Receipt
Patient : patient is associated with the event. Point to view details such as date of birth, age at the time of occurrence of the problem, gender, and weight. Click to view the details of the patient.
Reportable : event is reportable

Actions and Toolbar Commands

Action Description For More Information
> Reported Against Item > Add Existing Adds the existing reported against parent and reported against item to the selected event. Adding Reported Items
> Reported Against Item > Remove > Removes the selected reported against parent or reported against item from the event. Click OK to confirm. --
> Set Primary Event Designates the selected event as primary event --
Add Child Creates a derived event for the selected event. Creating a Derived Event
> Delete > Deletes the selected event. Click OK to confirm.

You must be the event originator or quality manager to perform this action. You can delete events only when they are in Create state.

> Patient > Remove Patient Removes the selected patient from the event. Click OK to confirm. --
Edit > Undo Removes the last copied row --
Edit > Copy Copies the selected event or reported item row Copying an Event

Create New Creates a new event Creating an Event
Enable Edit Lets you can update the details of the event such as confirmation status, timing, and description Modifying Events
