Create and Analyze an Interference Simulation
-
Create an interference simulation on an opened product. See Create an Interference Simulation.
You can create an interference simulation on an explored product. See Create an Interference Simulation through Top Bar.
Note: You can specify the engineering connection specifications, knowledge rules, quantifier choices while computing an interference simulation. See Defining Interference Simulation Specifications. -
Analyze the interference simulation to identify the clashes, contacts, or
clearances. See Analyzing and Verifying Interference Simulation Results.
When you analyze the interference simulation, you can do the following:
- Create sections
- Measure 3D geometries and the distance between them
- Apply colors to the instances
- Re-frame on the clashing parts or on the interference area
- Publish the interference simulation report. See Publishing an Interference Report.
- Validate the interference simulation results in a collaborative environment. See Validating the Interference Simulation Results in a Collaborative Environment.
-
View the interferences in a presentation mode. See Viewing Interferences in a Presentation Mode.
You can also explore 3D models and interferences in the VR environment, using a Head Mounted Display (HMD). See Viewing Interference in VR Mode.
- Create a change actions and issues for interferences. See Working with Change Actions and Issues.
-
Use Edit Specification to edit the interference
simulation specifications. See Edit an Interference Simulation.
You can also quickly modify the specifications of an interference simulation from the search results, without opening or exploring the interference simulation. See Editing Interference Simulation Specifications.
- Update the interference simulation to compute it based on the modified preferences. See Updating Interference Simulation and Interference Simulation Results.
