CommandManager

Like the 3DEXPERIENCE menu, the commands in the Connector for SOLIDWORKS CommandManager operate on the currently active model in the graphics area.

To reach the Connector for SOLIDWORKS CommandManager, you must first enable the CommandManager in SOLIDWORKS (see SOLIDWORKS Help for directions). From the CommandManager, click the 3DEXPERIENCE tab. The Connector for SOLIDWORKS CommandManager contains commands that let you work with the document in X-CAD Design Management or Windows Explorer.



Check In
Lets you check files into the database so that they are available to other users for editing.

Check In All
Lets you check in all files and their references that SOLIDWORKS has opened. This option is only active if you have at least two(multiple) files checked out.


Check Out
Lets you check out the active file. Other users can view the files but they are prevented from editing them.

Undo Check Out
Cancels a checkout without saving changes.

Undo Check Out All
Cancels a checkout of the active file and the reference file without saving changes.


Get Latest Iteration
Copies the latest iteration of the file from the database to your local directory.

Get Latest Released
Copies the latest released iteration of the file from the database to your local directory.

Get Iteration
Displays a numbered list of previous versions of the file for you to select from

Show Card
Displays the data card for the file.


History
Displays the History dialog box.

Baseline
Creates a baseline for the active document.

Explore in Web
Lets you log in to the X-CAD Design Management server. The summary information for the file is displayed.

Open File Location
Opens a Windows Explorer window to the folder that contains the model.
