The primary area of the Instruction Tools section provides commands for updating the content of the work instructions.

Generate Documentation for Operation
Generate a formatted version of the 3D work instructions for a specific operation.

Generate Documentation for All Operations
Generate a formatted version of 3D work instructions for all operations in a system or parent operation.

Change Current System, Workplan or Operation
Change the current system or operation.

Attach Document
Attaches documents such as images, spreadsheets, or pdfs.

Declare as Generative Library Instruction
As an administrator, you can create a text instruction, declare it a generative instruction, and store it in a catalog. A generative instruction is not complete by itself. It relies on customer content to generate the final instructions.

Manages assignments to textual instructions.

Browse Requirements
Browse existing requirements.
The Requirement Browser lets you manage:
  • The specification link between an item or operation and a set of requirements.
  • The requirements assignments.

Launch DCP Formula Validity Checker Panel
Launch the Panel to verify the validity of all Data Collect Plan rows under they system.
List of Data Collect Plan Rows displays for those containing invalid formulas.

Manage Capable Resources
Manages links between capable resources and systems, operations, and work instructions.

Replace by Revision
Replace an item with another version, then use mechanisms to handle relations referencing the replaced entity.

Update Views
You can use this for 3D Work Instructions (3D-WI) the Dress up and Slides. This stores references to Manufactured Products and Resources.

Updates generative instruction with new business logic, new data from keywords, or new text..

Update FTA Capture Picture Markers
You can update the snapshot inside the out-of-date Picture Markers with the latest content.

Publish All Views
This publishes all views of all the operations in the active system.
Click Publish All Views to publish saved views associated with all operations. If you have made unsaved changes to a view, those changes do not publish. The commands give you a choice to save your changes, so the changes publish, or to publish only what has previously saved.


Publish for Review
You can Publish (Generate Instruction Graphics) authored content for Review without switching apps.

Issue Management
Lets you create and assign issues, and view existing ones directly from the Application.
From the tree or from the 3D view, select an object.
