Cloning a Formula

You can create a new formula by cloning an existing formula.

Note: You can also clone a formula from the formula comparison grid. See Editing Multiple Formulas.


Before you begin: To perform this task, you must have the Formulation Designer 3DS role.

  1. Open the formula that you want to use as the basis for your new formula.
  2. In the work area, click Clone Formula .
    A copy of the formula is made, and opens in the work area. A tile for the formula is added to the left panel.

    The new formula is saved with the name Copy of [formula name]. You can change the name in the Formula Properties panel.
