Viewing a Formula's Genealogy

You can view the history of the formula in terms of earlier formulas from which it was cloned. This is the formula's genealogy.

View the Genealogy of a Formula

You can view the genealogy of a formula that is open in the work area.

  1. Open the formula whose genealogy you want to view.
  2. Click Open/Close Dock in the vertical bar to the right of the formula grid.
    The Formula Properties pane opens.
  3. Click the Genealogy tab.

    The Genealogy tab opens in the Formula Properties pane.

Open a Formula from the Genealogy

You can open any formula from the genealogy.

  1. In the Genealogy tab of the Formula Properties pane, click the tile of the formula that you want to open.

    Details of the selected formula become visible.

  2. Click .
    The selected formula opens in the work area.

Refresh the Genealogy

You can refresh the genealogy.

In the Genealogy tab of the Formula Properties pane, click .
