Point Fastening Section

The primary area of the Point Fastening section provides commands for creating spot weld profiles, tasks, and trajectories.

Create Spot Trajectory
Creates a table of manufacturing positions to spot weld or rivet. It can be created from a process plan that implements design fasteners, or, in the case of a non-process planning scenario, from the design fasteners or by importing a spreadsheet that specifies the manufacturing positions.
See Creating a Spot Trajectory
Update Spot Trajectory
Updates a spot weld trajectory when changes occur in the design position of spot fasteners.
See Synchronizing a Spot Weld Trajectory
Convert Spot Trajectories for Programming
Converts Process trajectories to Resource trajectories by disconnecting from process plan.
See Converting Spot Trajectories for Programming
Spot Welding Profile
Defines the parameters used in the motion of the robot and the gun during the spot welding process.
See Creating a Spot Profile
Create Rivet Profile
Defines the parameters used in the motion of the robot and the gun during the riveting process.
See Creating a Rivet Profile
Generate Robot Task
Creates a robot task containing spot or rivet operations, created from and spot or rivet trajectory and associated profiles.
See Generating a Spot or Rivet Task
Update Spot Task
Synchronizes a weld task with the spot weld trajectory when the trajectory has been modified.
See Synchronizing a Spot Weld Task
Automatic Collision Avoidance
Automatically runs through all process points, finds motions with clash, and solves them by rotating the process point (manufacturing fastener) or creating additional via points.
See Generating a Collision-Free Path
Planning Programming Consistency Check
Verifies that robot task detailing is consistent with planning in the current session.
See Verifying Consistency Between Programming and Planning
Ordering By Sequence
