Context Toolbars

Context toolbars are smart toolbars that contain only those commands that can be applied to the current selection.

This page discusses:

Draw

Draw on Grid

Lets you draw on a smart grid that helps you create and precisely position your drawing relative to underlying geometry.

See About the Support Plane.

Draw in 3D

Lets you draw in 3D.

See About the Support Plane.

Open Profile

Lets you draw lines, arcs, points and spline curves.

See Drawing Lines and Arcs and Drawing Spline Curves.

Closed Profile

Lets you draw circles, rectangles, ellipses and polygons.

See Drawing Circles, Rectangles, Ellipses and Polygons

Line

See Drawing Lines and Arcs

Arc

Lets you draw an arc using the Tangent Arc or the Three-Point Arc command.

See Drawing Lines and Arcs

Spline

See Drawing Spline Curves

Point

See Drawing Lines and Arcs

Circle

See Drawing Circles, Rectangles, Ellipses and Polygons

Rectangle

Lets you draw a rectangle by clicking to locate the two opposite corners (Corner Rectangle ) or by clicking to locate the center, and then dragging and clicking to set the four edges (Center Rectangle ).

See Drawing Circles, Rectangles, Ellipses and Polygons

Ellipse

See Drawing Circles, Rectangles, Ellipses and Polygons

Polygon

See Drawing Circles, Rectangles, Ellipses and Polygons

2 corner Rectangle
See Drawing Circles, Rectangles, Ellipses and Polygons.

Centered Rectangle
See Drawing Circles, Rectangles, Ellipses and Polygons.

Undo
Reverses your last action. Repeat as many times as required. Some actions cannot be undone because they require too much memory.
See Smart Grid.

Commands Accessible from Robot

Local Mode

Lets you work on a face, a surface, an edge or a point.

This is the default mode.

Global Mode

Extends the selection to all parts of the geometry in contact with the selected face or surface.

Lets you work on a whole shape.

Import Geometry
Imports geometry from another app or from another CAD system.
