Opening a Model

You can access the information related to a model.

Tip: You can also open a model from:

  1. In the navigation pane, select Model Versions.

    Tip: You can also use the search tools to find the model.

  2. Select the name of the model.
  3. Use the categories in the navigation pane to access information related to the model.

    Catalog - Displays product configurations related to the model. Catalog Page for Models
    Logical Features Master Composition Displays the models defined in the context model. Configuration and Effectivity Services User's Guide: Master Composition for a Model
    Candidate Items Displays the candidate logical features defined for the model version. Logical Features Page for a Model
    Committed Items Displays the committed logical features defined for the model version.
    Variants - Displays the variants and options groups for the model that are candidates for or committed to a model version revision. Variants Page for a Model
    Manufacturing Plans Derivations Displays the manufacturing plans defined for the model. Design and Manufacturing Configuration Planning User's Guide: Manufacturing Plans Page
    Model Versions - Displays all the revisions and derivations of all model versions belonging to the model. Product Line Management User's Guide: Model Versions Tab
    Images - Displays a list of images of the model. Product Line Management User's Guide: Images Page
    Lifecycle Lifecycle Displays the lifecycle of the model and its current state.
