This page describes recent changes in Formulation Design.

This page discusses:

R2022x FD01 (FP.2205)

Undo and Redo

You can now undo and redo up to 10 actions in the formula grid and the formula comparison grid.

Benefits: The ability to undo and redo recent actions improves the efficiency with which you can edit formulas. You can try out changes to formulas, knowing that you can reverse them quickly and safely.
For more information, see Undoing and Redoing Actions in the Formula Grid Undoing and Redoing Actions in Compared Formulas

Improvements to Reports

There are improvements to the content and generation of reports:
  • In Bill of Substances reports, materials with no constituent substances are included, so that the Bill of Substances total is always 100%. Column headers are updated to reflect this change: Substance ID is now ID, and Substance Name is now Name.
  • In Bill of Materials reports, materials that are processing aids (and therefore not included in the final formulation) are listed in a table beneath the main Bill of Materials table.
  • Generation of reports has been made more efficient with server-side compression.
Benefits: Reports now include more detailed information, and are generated more quickly.
