Programming Section

The Programming section of the action bar provides commands for defining factory flows.

Define Factory Flow
Creates a factory flow for several resources.
  • Select the point where the factory flow is to start.
  • Select the product and resources to be included in the factory flow.
  • Select the point where the factory flow is to end.

Edit proportions
Edit the proportions of products going out of a resource.
Select a resource. In the Proportion area of the dialog box, modify the proportion value and click OK.

Generate Model with EKL
Generates a model from a file with an EKL script.
In the Select a file to use as a model dialog box, select an Excel file and click Open. Then, select a manufacturing product from the tree.
Modify Schedule/Sequence for Products
Modifies the schedule and sequence for products.

Add In Zone
Adds an In Zone to the manufacturing cell
Select a point where the In Zone is to be located and press Esc.

Add Out Zone
Adds an Out Zone to the manufacturing cell.
Select a point where the Out Zone is to be located and press Esc.

Add Product Zone
Defines a point in the product flow where the product is handled by a resource.
Select a resource, a product, and press Esc.

Add Resource Zone
Specifies a point in the product flow where a worker waits for a product.
Select a resource, click a point where the resource zone is to be located and press Esc.

Zone Assignment
Assigns a product zone to a resource zone.


Add Decision Zone
Defines a point on a conveyor where you want another resource to handle a product.

Add a PnF Decision Zone
Defines a point on a Power and Free conveyor where to load, unload, and route products.

Add AGV Decision Zone
Adds an AGV decision zone to a pathway.
