Opening a Model

You can access the information related to a model.

Tip: You can also open a model from:

  1. In the navigation pane, select Model Versions.

    Tip: You can also use the search tools to find the model.

  2. Select the name of the model.
  3. Use the categories in the navigation pane to access information related to the model.

    Catalog

    Only shows if Variant Management is installed.

    Logical Features

    Only shows if Variant Management is installed.

    Committed Items Lists logical features committed to specific model version revisions. Variant Management User's Guide: Logical Features Page for a Model
    Master Composition

    Lists master compositions managed by Design and Manufacturing Configuration Planning.

    Variants

    Only shows if Variant Management is installed.

    Manufacturing Plans

    Only shows if Design and Manufacturing Configuration Planning is installed.

    Model Versions - Lists the revisions and evolutions of all model versions belonging to the model. Model Versions Tab
    Images - Lists the images associated with the model. Images Page
    Lifecycle Lifecycle Shows the lifecycle of the model and highlights the current state.
