Toolbar

The toolbar is the main command bar for the Bookmark Editor. Commands that are specific to bookmarks and bookmark content are organized on this bar.

The following commands for creating and adding objects.

Upload Folder Lets you upload a folder from your computer to the current bookmark. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Add Document Lets you upload documents from your computer to the current bookmark. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
The following commands are for editing existing objects.

Replace by Revision. Lets you replace the selected object with a revision of the object. Bookmark Objects
Replace by Latest Revision Lets you replace the selected objects with the latest revision of the object. Bookmark Objects
Copy Lets you copy the selection. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Cut Lets you cut the selection. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + X. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Paste Lets you paste the selection. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Edit File Lets you edit the file. Bookmark Objects
Update File Lets you save the modifications to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Bookmark Objects
Undo Edit Lets you discard all the edit done to a document. Bookmark Objects
Delete Lets you delete the object. Deleting Objects
Remove Removes the selected object. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
The following commands are for viewing the existing objects.

 Lets you expand and collapse the bookmark structure and all of its contents. Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
In Context Search Lets you search for a document or an object and navigate to the bookmark to which the document is attached. In Context Search
Index Mode or Authoring Mode Lets you switch from Index mode to Authoring mode, or Authroing moce to Index mode. About Index Mode
Selection Assistant Automatically adds parents or children to the objects you select. The following options are available:

Select All Visible: Selects all visible objects in the view.

Select Children: Selects all the child objects of the selected objects recursively. The selected objects remain selected.

Select Inversion: Selects all the objects in the structure except the branch of the object you selected. If you do not select an object first, all objects in the structure, except the root, are selected.

Select Parent: Selects the parent of the selected objects. Selecting the parent object cancels the selection of the object you selected.

Select Siblings: Selects the sibling objects. Siblings are objects that share a parent with the currently selected object. Selecting the sibling objects cancels the selection of the object you selected.

Select Leaves: Selects the leaves of the selected objects. Leaves are objects that have no child object. Selecting the leaf objects cancels the selection of the object you selected.

Print Lets you view the print preview, and opt to print the bookmark view. Bookmarks
Export Exports the bookmark content view to a CSV file. Bookmarks
Subscriptions Lets you opt to receive notifications for events. Subscriptions

Lets you switch to tree view, tile view, or thumbnail view.

Click to select the other view.

 Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Properties or Information Lets you view and modify the properties of the bookmark or the object.

You can also view the log of actions performed on the bookmark and preview the CAD content.

The following commands are for gathering information of the objects.

Favorites Lets you mark bookmarks as favorites. Bookmarks
Download File Lets you download the file attached to the document on your device.
Note: Bookmark Editor does not support bulk download panel and download of CAD components from bookmarks.
 Bookmark Objects
Find in Context Lets you find objects inside a structure and expand the structure to those specific nodes or to find objects connected to a bookmark. Bookmark Objects
Relations Lets you view the objects related to the selection. Exploring Relationships Between Objects
Properties or Information Lets you view and modify the properties of the bookmark or the object.

You can also view the log of actions performed on the bookmark and preview the CAD content.

 Information and Properties
The following commands are the lifecycle commands for the objects.

Maturity Shows the lifecycle states of the object. Changing Maturity

Duplicate Lets you create a copy of the object. Duplicating Objects
Compare Lets you compare the object with other objects or other revisions of the object. You can compare multiple objects with other objects. Comparing the Structure of Objects
The following commands are the collaboration commands for the objects.

Share Lets you share content with other people and manage their permission level. Sharing Objects with Other Users
Copy Link Copies the url link to the selected bookmark or the object.

This command is deactivated for the Bookmark and the Favorite sections, and on multiselection of any objects in the content view.

 Bookmarks and Bookmark Objects
Move to Lets you move the selected objects to a different organization, collaborative space, or person. Moving Objects to Another Collaborative Space or Organization
Change Owner Modifies the Owner of the selected objects. Changing the Owner of Objects
Lock Prevents other users from modifying the selected objects.

You cannot reserve documents.

 Locking and Unlocking Objects
Unlock Unlocks a locked object and allows users to modify the selected objects.

You cannot use this command for documents.
